Pastry for double crust pie
4 cups fresh blueberries (1 L)
3/4 cup granulated sugar (175 mL)
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour (60 mL) or 2 tbsp cornstarch (30 mL)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (2 mL)
2 tablespoons melted butter (30 mL)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 mL)

sugar
Line pie plate with pastry.
Mix together blueberries, 3/4 cup sugar, flour or cornstarch, cinnamon, and melted butter; pour into pie shell.
Cover with pastry and cut a few slashes in top; or cut pastry into strips and prepare lattice top. Seal edges well and flute.
Brush lightly with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in 425 F (220 C) oven for 15 min., reduce heat to 350 F (180 C) and bake about 40 min. longer, or until crust is golden.
